Mother's Day at AYRE by Karma
SINGER ISLAND, FL – This Mother’s Day, families will embark on a culinary escape to India at AYRE by Karma. No passport required.
Located at Amrit Ocean Resort overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, AYRE’s executive chef Asif Syed will present a family-style, three-course prix fixe menu blending signature Indian flavors with contemporary coastal flair.
Starter options include Lukhmi, a crispy, deep-fried pastry filled with spiced lamb, Dahi Bhalla, chilled lentil fritters dipped in homemade yogurt, Chicken Jodhpur, tandoori-roasted and layered with the chef’s signature spice blend, and Crab and Avocado Causa served chilled with crème fraiche and mango chutney.
Main courses are a love letter to regional Indian cuisine: Stuffed Tandoori Chicken Roulade, yogurt-marinated with spinach and fenugreek, Grilled Branzino, tandoori-marinated and fire-roasted, Goan Prawn Balchão, with tangy chilis, Kashmiri Gushtaba, tender lamb meatballs in a saffron yogurt gravy, Paneer Musallam, roasted paneer in a saffron-almond sauce, and Lucknowi Vegetable Biryani, fragrant basmati rice layered with seasonal vegetables and Awadhi spices. Served with choice of plain naan, garlic naan, or laccha paratha (crispy flatbread).
Desserts include Gil-e-Firdaus Crème Brûlée, a pineapple and saffron custard with a caramelized sugar crust, Chai-Spiced Tea Kulfi, served with dark chocolate tuile, and Shahi Tukda (a royal favorite), which is challah bread soaked in saffron syrup and served with vanilla ice cream.
Cost is $80 per adult, and $40 for children under 9 years, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
Mother’s Day hours are 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch, and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for dinner.
