Dr. Courtney Miller is a nationally recognized scientist and entrepreneur whose work focuses on developing innovative therapeutics for cancer and brain disorders. As Director of Academic Affairs at the Wertheim UF Scripps Institute, she leads groundbreaking research while mentoring the next generation of scientists. She is also the co-founder and CEO of Myosin Therapeutics, a clinical-stage company working to bring first-in-class medications to patients.
Dr. Miller’s achievements have earned numerous honors, including the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers and BioFlorida’s Entrepreneur of the Year. She is also a passionate advocate for representation in science and co-founded the Professional Women’s Nexus, a network dedicated to advancing women and underrepresented groups in scientific leadership.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
Special Agent Sarah Halleran brings over 16 years of investigative experience in federal law enforcement. Her work has spanned complex financial crimes, violent crimes against children, organized crime, securities fraud, international money laundering, and disaster-related fraud investigations.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with agencies including the Securities and Exchange Commission, local and state law enforcement, and tribal authorities to investigate high-profile cases and secure successful convictions. She has received numerous honors including the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association Award and Law Enforcement Officer of the Year recognition.
Agent Halleran currently serves as the FBI Miami Recruiter Coordinator and as a Behavioral Analysis Unit Coordinator, helping connect law enforcement agencies with FBI resources to combat complex and violent criminal activity.

Firefighter/Paramedic – Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue
Krystyna Krakowski serves as a firefighter/paramedic with Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue, a profession long considered one of the most physically and culturally demanding male-dominated fields. Through her service in emergency response, technical rescue, and firefighter wellness initiatives, she has developed a strong commitment to resilience, teamwork, and leadership.
Her experience includes serving on the department’s Honor Guard, Wellness Committee, Technical Rescue Team, and live fire training operations. Krakowski is passionate about fostering healthier workplace cultures where firefighters, and especially women entering the field, can thrive with confidence and authenticity.

Event Cancellation Policy: A notice of cancellation must be received by e-mail within 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event. NO verbal cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations under 48 hours prior to the event, will NOT receive event credit in order to solidify attendance numbers with the event venue. All cancellation notices received BEFORE 48 hours (2 business days) prior to the event will be given an event credit of equal value. Event credits will be applied upon request and are good for up to 1 year from the purchase date. There are NO REFUNDS.
