Tax Collector's Office Honored for Publication Excellence

Constitutional Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon, today announced her agency has been named a 2021 APEX Award Winner in Publications Excellence for a One-of-a-Kind Publication for the 2021 Tax Planner and Services Guide.

The APEX awards, sponsored by Communications Concepts, Inc., is an annual competition for businesses, nonprofits, agencies, and freelance communicators to enter their best writing, publications, campaigns, programs, design, and media.  The awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence, according to the panel of APEX judges.

With nearly 1,200 entries, 471 Awards of Excellence were presented this year, recognizing exceptional entries in 100 sub-categories, one of which is the One-of-a-Kind Publication for a government agency.
The 60-page Tax Planner and Services Guide, published annually, is filled with information on the variety of services provided by the tax collector’s office.  It includes tips on how to use the agency’s online services, such as Pay Online.  There is even a monthly calendar highlighting important dates and reminders throughout the year.  “The Tax Planner and Services Guide is by far our most popular publication, and to be recognized internationally for our communications efforts is a tremendous accomplishment for our agency,” said Tax Collector Gannon.
