NEW NAME, NEW PARTNER, NEW OFFICE FOR GLIDDEN SPINA

West Palm Beach, Florida – (January 27, 2020) – Keith Spina, Chief Executive Officer of the area’s leading architecture and interior design firm, has announced a change to the name of his firm from Glidden Spina + Partners to Spina O’Rourke + Partners, reflecting in the firm’s name the partner status of Tammy O’Rourke, a principal of the firm and its Director of Interior Design. The company has also announced that it has relocated its corporate office to the near complete Flagler Banyan Square, a 435,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use complex in downtown West Palm Beach overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. It features The Ben hotel, a luxurious 208-room Marriott Autograph Collection property; Oversea, a pet-friendly apartment community with 251 units; 9,779 sq. ft. of street-level retail; a 10,000-sq.-ft. restaurant by Big Time Restaurant Group; plus boutique office space and welcoming public space called The Square. It’s located on the high-profile site of the former West Palm Beach City Hall.

Tammy O’Rourke joined the firm in 1991 and has been central to her company’s growth, innovations and regional industry leadership. Her extensive portfolio of design projects has earned both O’Rourke and the firm a multitude of peer and industry recognitions including an American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Design Excellence Award for Commercial Renovation, and awards from the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and American Institute of Architects (AIA). She is a licensed Interior Designer and LEED Accredited Professional, serving the Quantum House Board of Directors, St. Mary’s Medical Center & Palm Beach Children’s Hospital Advisory Council, and the Advocacy Board for The University of Tennessee College of Architecture + Design.

“For nearly 30 years, Tammy’s range of exceptional talent has benefitted our company and its clients in both measurable and immeasurable ways,” said Spina. “Our partnership spans decades, and her enduring commitment to our company is the foundation for the name change and our shared success. I want to also underscore that the ‘plus-partners’ has a powerful significance in the name, as we have a deep bench of remarkably talented team members who deserve to be recognized for their contributing roles. With our new move into our next chapter in January, now is the time!”

Occupying the first floor of the Oversea building within Flagler Banyan Square, the firm’s new office is at 285 Banyan Blvd., and the entrance is on the project’s south-facing side.

“Moving into our new location is especially meaningful to me and our team since we designed it, from both the architecture and interiors perspectives,” said O’Rourke. “What excites me most is the array of hospitality amenities offered on our site. I see it having a profound impact on our company culture, the way we work, and our client experience. We are truly embracing our environment in a way that is indicative of our location, space and design.”
