FAU ASCEND NeuroExplorers program registration is now open!

FAU ASCEND (Advancing STEM-Community Engagement through Neuroscience Discovery) Brain Institute, in partnership with the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, is once again offering the NeuroExplorers virtual neuroscience learning opportunity during the Spring 2021 semester for kids grades 6-8.
Led by real professional neuroscientists, students will learn about the brain by using cutting-edge educational tools including hands-on virtual reality applications, online classroom environments, and virtual experiments. Students will join Zoom meetings twice a month and will receive a monthly Brain Box filled with hands-on activities geared towards the topics covered by neuroscience instructors for that month. Students who complete the program will graduate as Jr. Neuroscientists.

May 5th and 19th
Program cost: $100 per registrant for the entire semester. Financial assistance available upon request.
