about us

We are the local chapter of Lions Club International, the largest service club in the world, with over 1.3 million members in over 200 countries. Our Club is a part of Multiple District 35-N which serves an area of S. Florida from Indian River to Miami-Dade plus Okeechobee, Hendry and Glades counties and the Bahamas.

We Serve! We give back to the community by volunteering our services and collecting funds to support worthwhile projects. Locally, we sponsor projects such as diabetes screening, arranging for eye tests for those unable to afford it, collecting used glasses to be recycled and provided at no charge to the poor around the world. We also join with the Florida Outreach Center for the Blind in sponsoring an annual Christmas party for blind and visually impaired children and their families.
In addition to the satisfaction that comes from volunteering, an active member benefits from the opportunities to develop and use leadership and business skills. A member also benefits from the networking that is inherent with being a part of a structured volunteer organization that meets locally, statewide, nationally and internationally. You can join the Palm Beach County North Lions Club by filling out an application which will be sponsored by a member. There is a one-time initiation fee of $90.00 and annual dues of $90.00.
