On Saturday, June 1 at 9:00am, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue face off at the Town of Lake Park Battle of the Badges Community BBQ/Kickball Game! Located at Bert Bostrom Park & Field, this family friendly event will have free food, music, a bounce house and a chance to meet your area first responders. Check out the Touch-A-Truck section where you can see Law Enforcement and Fire Rescue Specialty Vehicles, SWAT, Bomb Squad, Mounted Unit, K9, Motorcycles and ATV's. Admission and parking is free!

Join the River Center in a day of estuary exploration at our Family Seine and Dip Netting Experience! Activities will include exploring our local waterways through dip netting, seining and of course, snorkeling! Participants are welcome to bring snorkeling gear or goggles, but not required. Business Savvy Women is a Forum where professional business women come together in a constructively challenging setting to discuss a range of issues that arise in their business and professional environment. 
 
The objective of the Forum is to empower professional business women to develop and execute solutions to overcome the challenges they face in their business or professional environment. In practical terms, women will be able to draw from the wealth of knowledge in the room to develop and execute innovative solutions to successfully resolve their challenges. 
 
Each Forum is presented by the Women in Business Council of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce will be facilitated by Cheryl Gowdie, Business Coach.  This will be in accordance with a set of protocols designed to create a thought-provoking, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
 
The Forum is targeted for professional business women who have acquired a level of experience and expertise that will add value to the group.

The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Small Business Advisory Council presents a unique version of power networking on Wednesday, June 12 from 11:30 ? 1:30 PM at The Abacoa Golf Club. Power Networking offers a fast-paced, exciting and extremely effective networking and professional relationship-building experience.
 
This is your chance to make 30 or more new connections. The format starts with open networking and a delicious luncheon buffet, followed by one-on-one discussions with 18 rounds where each individual is given the opportunity to give a 2 - 2 1/2 minute introduction. .
