Discover the topography and natural history of Jupiter’s National Conservation Lands historic site. This 2 mile trek passes through historic points of interest on the 120-acre Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area. The hike departs from the flag pole at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum and is weather dependent. Program is open to adults and children-minimum age 5, ages 13 & under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old. Working with wire, beads and other elements to make crafty creations. Many projects will be inspired by an organization of artisans in Cape Town, South Africa, that create and design unique beaded sculpture.

Come out this spring to our first ever Coastal Fest. Enjoy the sounds of paradise from “Fresh Catch,” a band straight out of Stuart. Specializing in a heavy Reggae sound, the band will serenade you while you enjoy food and local vendors. You will also have a chance to snap photos with mermaid princess and adventurous pirate. Our Mission: To promote a healthy, active lifestyle and provide organized opportunities for physical fitness, wellness education, and psycho-social empowerment among Breast Cancer Survivors and their supporters through the sport of dragon boating.

Team SOS PBC members are from all walks of life and range in age from 30s to 70s with varied interests and fitness levels. Each of us is a powerful example that women can lead a full and vigorous life after treatment for breast cancer. SOS PBC offers an active, health-giving, life affirming opportunity for breast cancer survivors. We are a survivor group whose focus is on living, rather than on the disease that brought us together.

The SWA Soiree is a family-friendly event that highlights the fact that we need you! – business, industry and each individual - to be responsible for keeping our community clean, green and sustainable. The event will: •“Kick off” with a 5K trail run/walk. All pre-registered participants will receive a medal and race shirts. Awards will be given for best times in age categories! •House a FREE personal document shred, thanks to SafeGuard Document Destruction, so that up to 6 boxes of an individual's sensitive documents can be safely recycled. Business Savvy Women is a Forum where professional business women come together in a constructively challenging setting to discuss a range of issues that arise in their business and professional environment. 
 
The objective of the Forum is to empower professional business women to develop and execute solutions to overcome the challenges they face in their business or professional environment. In practical terms, women will be able to draw from the wealth of knowledge in the room to develop and execute innovative solutions to successful resolve their challenges. 
 
Each Forum is presented by the Women in Business Council of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce will be facilitated by Cheryl Gowdie, Business Coach.  This will be in accordance with a set of protocols designed to create a thought-provoking, confidential and non-judgmental environment.

The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Health Care Committee invites you to join us on April 13, 2017 for a special panel of professionals who will address the topic of how pain opiates and depression impacts our community.

The purpose of this event is to engage residents and business leaders of Palm Beach North in an open discussion with public service and medical professionals regarding the impact of opiates on our community. The panel hopes to clarify many misunderstandings and misconceptions as they relate to links between pain management, depression, and opiate addiction, and looks forward to advancing a dialogue in which solutions can be considered for future strategic planning.

Attendees will be able to:

• Articulate the scope and breadth of the opiate addiction problem at both the national and local levels
• Describe the process through which an individual is likely to become addicted to opiate medication and other opiate-related drugs
• Classify the various pathways that are available to assist individuals in their recovery from opiate addiction
• Identify those individuals who are at the greatest risk for opiate addiction
• Explain the signs of opiate misuse and abuse
• Communicate effective strategies through which one might assist an individual suspected of having an opiate addiction

Chief Clarence D. Williams, III. - Police Chief, Riviera Beach
Clarence Daryl Williams, III is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Although a recent transplant to the Palm Beaches when he accepted the position of Chief of Police for the City of Riviera Beach in 2002, he is no stranger to community service and activism. His involvement in community service spans several decades and includes the following organizations and commissions: NAACP-Cincinnati Branch, State of Ohio Minority Police Officers Advisory Task Force; Ohio Governor's Commission on Socially Disadvantaged Black Males; and President of Golden Bears Youth Baseball Program, Hawks Youth Basketball and Hilltop Youth Football Program. The Saturday Morning Pilates-Rollology Class was developed by Second Generation Master Pilates Instructor Alyson Limehouse. This class uses a cutting-edge discipline that starts with the core using a foam roller. Join the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce for our monthly breakfast on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Palm Beach Gardens Marriott. Guests will gain an understanding about the economic impact of sports in Palm Beach North, as well as a deeper knowledge into the business of sports and what it brings to our region.

The FAU Lifelong Learning Society (LLS) in Jupiter is partnering with National Theatre Live (NTL), which broadcasts world-class theatre and the Bolshoi Ballet productions to cinemas in the U.K. and internationally. The programs that LLS will show will not be live performances, but pre-recorded programs. The first performance will be The Sleeping Beauty by the Bolshoi Ballet.

Aycock-Riverside Funeral & Cremation Center and the Jupiter-Tequesta Rotary Club are Hosting a Networking Mixer and you are invited to attend a “Business After Hours” Networking event. Professionals will enjoy drinks and complimentary hors d’oeuvres, catered by Doris Italian Market & Bakery, as they network with other local business owners, professionals and community members. All proceeds will go to the Jupiter-Tequesta Rotary Scholarship Program, which gives funds to local high school students attempting to go to college.
