TO PALM BEACH KENNEL CLUB SEPTEMBER 17-28, 2015
NEW $365 BUY-IN MONSTER STACK!
West Palm Beach, FL – For the sixth consecutive year, WSOP Circuit will call Palm Beach Kennel Club in West Palm Beach home from September 17 through September 28. Poker players from across the country will be heading to Palm Beach County for the 2015-16 WSOP Circuit event.
“We are thrilled to bring the excitement of the World Series of Poker Circuit and this positive economic impact to Palm Beach County,” said PBKC Vice President Joe Rooney. "It has brought people to us from all over the country that hadn’t experienced this facility before, and many were first-time visitors to beautiful Palm Beach County. And who wouldn’t want to come to West Palm Beach in February?!” he added.
PBKC was the first non-casino to earn the right to offer WSOP Circuit tournaments and the only stop in the State of Florida beginning in February 2011. PBKC is one of only two locations to host two circuit series. From 2011 through 2015, PBKC has been one of the most successful WSOP Circuit stops. Altogether, 29,477 players have participated and winnings have reached in excess of $14.7 million.
In addition, area businesses benefited from the many visitors to the area for the WSOPC tournaments. Since 2011, an estimated 7,101 room nights have been booked at local hotels with an estimated Event Impact close to $3.6 million (according to figures provided by the Palm Beach County Convention & Visitors Bureau). WSOP Circuit players came from near and far with approximately 31% from Palm Beach County and 69% from out of the county.
And some very famous Poker Pros have played in the WSOPC at PBKC including: Jerry Yang, Greg Reyhmer, Lee Childs, Chad Brown, Harrison Gimbel and many more.
