Aug 23 New City Church - Worship Service
New City Church's worship is a casual atmosphere that welcomes people to come-as-they-are on the outside and the inside - in how you dress and wherever you are in your spiritual journey. We believe that God is timeless and not locked into any one particular time in history, place, style, or culture. His unchangeable truths of the good news about Jesus are relevantly incarnated into the present culture.

It is our hope that at New City you will have a powerful encounter with God as you participate in worship to him. We have a deep appreciation of Christianity's historical past with its creeds, confessions, and liturgy communicated in ways that speak directly into our lives today.

Child care available
A fully functioning nursery and children's program, called
City Kids, is available during the service for infants through Grade 2.

Aug 25 Hyrum Smith: The Three Gaps "Everyone Has Them: What Closing Them Means"

The Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce is honored to welcome Hyrum Smith, co founder of the Franklin Quest Company and the "time management guru," as our keynote speaker for this very special seminar. Hyrum has traveled the globe teaching the basic principles of personal productivity, time and life management, identifying and living personal values, and the abundance mentality. And now, with the release of his book, The 3 Gaps, he is bringing his teachings to Northern Palm Beach County. This event provides a unique opportunity to hear from Hyrum Smith, and we encourage businesses to bring their employees, as many of Hyrum's teachings apply to both small and large businesses.

The presentation is divided into an introduction, based on the idea of “making a difference” and then an exploration of what each of the “3 Gaps” are, how to close them and how, in closing them to make a difference – individually, in our relationships, our teams, organizations and communities.

The 3 Gaps is a concept that refers to:

  • Governing Values – Do I know and am I governing my behavior and my day to day decisions from a clear understanding of what my values/highest priorities are?

  • Beliefs – Am I aware of the ideas and perceptions I treat as real, valid or true? Am I confident of those beliefs and am I, where appropriate, challenging and changing beliefs that are not firmly rooted in reality?

  • Productivity – Do I have a clear idea, in both the short and the long term, of what my goals are? Do I plan in the long term and daily to include tasks and activities that will help me achieve those goals?

Testimonials

"Hyrum highlights a powerful principle: Focus. Coaching yourself and others to focus on what matters most in each unique moment will help you win what's most important in this game we call life."
- Don Shula, Pro Football Hall of Famer

"A very important book- one that could change you and the way you think about things. Smith has given us the best work I've seen in a long, long while."

Flaunt your best tea dress and hat as we enjoy tea, light bites and desserts at Jupiter Beach Resort. This years Annual Tea will feature Mandy Antoniacci, Entrepreneur and Inc. Magazine Columnist.

About Mandy

Mandy is a breed of entrepreneur who doesn?t just want to do well, she also wants to do good. As the creator and partner of several social enterprise ventures, Mandy innovates and disrupts the status quo with the aim to change some of society's biggest problems in the field of sports business.

Prior to entrepreneurship, her career path took her from multinational conglomerates to global advertising and marketing companies with only one constant?ascension.

Mandy became one of the youngest Executive Vice Presidents in the advertising industry, holding executive-level positions in two of the three largest communications holding companies in the world.  She launched products from scratch, and grew and managed businesses from small startups to multi-million dollar global companies.  Mandy advised Clients on their digital, social, and mobile strategies, and led the creation of award-winning advertising campaigns in 12 countries, including campaigns for the Olympics & US Open Tennis, to name but a few.

As an Inc. Magazine columnist, sports enthusiast, and former collegiate athlete, Mandy shares thought leadership and inspiration to sports fans and entrepreneurs on the business of sports for social good in her column ?ChangeUp ??.

A cultural storyteller that represents the ?good in the game?, Mandy profiles team owners, coaches, players and entrepreneurs, who are single-handedly rewriting history, standing for positive change, in the multimedia version of her column TheChangeUpProject.com ?.  Her content is featured as curriculum, and often keynoted by her at Universities & Colleges nationwide.

As an entrepreneur, she is the Creator, Advisor, and Executive Board Member of several social enterprise ventures that are for profit, and for social good −the most recent, an educational sports app for kids launching during the fall 2015-16 NBA season.

Mandy believes that every problem has a solution.  And inside everything exists potential, as she uses her work to answer the question posed to her by her 8 year-old nephew when she first told him (en route to the Celtics/Lakers NBA Finals game) she was starting her own company?
?how will you help people??
