The Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce is honored to welcome Hyrum Smith, co founder of the Franklin Quest Company and the "time management guru," as our keynote speaker for this very special seminar. Hyrum has traveled the globe teaching the basic principles of personal productivity, time and life management, identifying and living personal values, and the abundance mentality. And now, with the release of his book, The 3 Gaps, he is bringing his teachings to Northern Palm Beach County. This event provides a unique opportunity to hear from Hyrum Smith, and we encourage businesses to bring their employees, as many of Hyrum's teachings apply to both small and large businesses.
The presentation is divided into an introduction, based on the idea of “making a difference” and then an exploration of what each of the “3 Gaps” are, how to close them and how, in closing them to make a difference – individually, in our relationships, our teams, organizations and communities.
The 3 Gaps is a concept that refers to:
Governing Values – Do I know and am I governing my behavior and my day to day decisions from a clear understanding of what my values/highest priorities are?
Beliefs – Am I aware of the ideas and perceptions I treat as real, valid or true? Am I confident of those beliefs and am I, where appropriate, challenging and changing beliefs that are not firmly rooted in reality?
