Light refreshments will be provided as guests are guided through our exhibit hall and turtle yard to learn about LMC?s conservation efforts and the local species that call South Florida's coast home. During the second half of the tour, guests will experience a ?meet and greet? in the turtle yard with our sea turtle patients. $10/adult, $5/children. Maximum capacity is 20 people.

Every Friday at 10:30 a.m. beginning October 24, guests will be guided by an experienced naturalist through some of South Florida?s beautiful habitat. Guests will see coastal hammock and natural dune systems, as well as learn about the plants and animals that call this unique environment home.

Max Entertainment event - The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience

Every Thursday night at Sailfish Marina is the Sunset Celebration. This tropical evening always begins at 6 pm and is free to enter. All along the seawall are local artists and vendors. You will see a wonderful assortment of art that has been handcrafted by local artists, from sea glass jewelry, silver works, hand carved wooden sculptures, pottery, paintings and more. Make a night of it and enjoy some of Sailfish Marina's house specialties in the restaurant including jumbo coconut shrimp or the fresh catch, if you do not have all night to hang out you can always enjoy some conch fritters, grouper dogs, and tasty cocktails like the Orange Crush made with the juiciest Florida Oranges along the sea wall while you browse. Women Build is an annual, worldwide event engaging women in an effort to build homes for deserving families. 

Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County invites you to join us as a Crew Member of Women Build 2015. This 
affiliate is calling on women to roll up their sleeves and pick up a hammer to build a home for single mother Sandra Sample and her two children and grandson.

Discover the topography and natural history of Jupiter?s National Conservation Lands historic site. This 2 mile trek passes through historic points of interest on the 120-acre Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area. The hike departs from the flag pole at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum and is weather dependent. Program is open to adults and children ?minimum age 5, ages 13 & under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old. The music from composers Holst and Walton are bits of Suites that are wonderful pieces named after parts of England.? says artistic director Colleen Smith. The original story was told over 150 years ago by Charles Dodgson, also know as Lewis Carroll, to young sisters Lorina, Alice and Edith Liddell while on a boat trip from Oxford to Godstow, England. Young Alice Liddell grew restless and begged Carroll to tell a story ?with lots of nonsense in it.? She loved the story so much that she asked him to write it down. ?The history behind the book Alice?s Adventures in Wonderland fascinates me. When creating the ballet we tried to bring alive on stage what young Alice was thinking that afternoon as she listened to the story.? says Smith. Girl Scouts Host Thin Mint Sprint 5K Race Tagalong Trot for Little Ones Jupiter, FL September 30, 2014 ? Attention all runners! Lace up your running shoes and join Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida for their Fourth Annual Thin Mint Sprint 5K on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach. The race also includes a Tagalong Trot 100-yard dash for kids 8 and under. The Thin Mint Sprint is open to all ages. Awards will be given in 17 categories, and the first 300 registrants will receive a race T-shirts. Plus, all runners get a free box of Thin Mints after you cross the finish line! This is a chip timed race on a certified course. The registration fee is $25 before March 13, $30 after March 13 or $35 after April 9 and on race day. The Children?s Research Station presented by the Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Foundation exercises science skills in children through an experiential lab. Geared at children ages up to 12, the junior veterinary lab accommodates up to 10 children at a time during daily half hour programs, taking participants from sea turtle rescue to release. The program features ?Dr. Logger,? a trained Loggerhead Marinelife Center volunteer acting as the center?s veterinarian. The 30 minute program begins when Dr. Logger receives a role-played call on the radio from the beach about a sick and injured sea turtle, igniting immediate excitement in participants. The children come to the aid of a green sea turtle replica and Dr. Logger teaches the group about common injuries and illnesses that affect these endangered animals. No pre-registration is required.
