Trustee Luncheon with County Commissioner Karen Marcus
Date: May 10, 2012
Time: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Event Description
The Chamber's Executive Trustee Council is having an exclusive Up Close and Personal Luncheon with County Commissioner Karen Marcus on Thursday, May 10 at the Capital Grille.
Commissioner Marcus has served as our District One Commissioner since 1984 and has always been attentive to the needs of the North County. She worked to get approval and funding for the Juno Pier and negotiated to keep baseball in Palm Beach County which resulted in the building of Roger Dean Stadium at Abacoa.
In 2005, it was Commissioner Marcus, as Chair of the Board, who took the lead in negotiations to bring the Scripps Research Institute to the North County.
This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the County Commission’s 2012 budget issues and have a frank discussion about our business concerns.
Seating for this luncheon is LIMITED, and this invitation is for Trustee Members, only.
