Event Description:

Small Business Software Seminar Can Save Thousands

The Chamber will host a seminar on Free Software for Small Businesses on Wednesday, October 20 at the Town of Jupiter Community Center. Deb Forsten, Education Coordinator for Palm Beach State College, will provide an overview of free online solutions that she has personally used to save the college thousands of dollars. Each attendee will receive a resource list of the software applications described, a cost comparison of popular commercial software versus free solutions and a guideline on the smart way to check out a free offer.

Deb Forsten serves as an education coordinator and adjunct faculty member for the Corporate & Continuing Education Division of Palm Beach State College. She has been involved in computer technology for over twenty years, through marketing, communications and project planning.  She has worked extensively in both the PC and Macintosh environments since the mid 1980’s.
