Over 600 athletes from all over the world will be descending to Carlin Park on August 2, 2014 to compete in the Jupiter Medical Loggerhead Triathlon. Dating back to 1985, competitors have made the trip to Jupiter year after year to enjoy one of the longest enduring triathlons in the state of Florida. A1A into Juno Beach culminating with a 3.1 mile (5k) run to the Jupiter Inlet and back to Carlin Park.
Competitors and race enthusiasts can attend the 10th Annual Health & Fitness Expo the day before the race on Friday, August 1 at the Jupiter Beach Resort.The Health & Fitness Expo will feature a number of companies specializing in sporting goods and automobiles, health foods and other industries important to a healthy lifestyle. Race participants will pick up materials for the race including tshirt, bib numbers and important race day information. Also at the Expo, new competitors to the Jupiter Medical Center Loggerhead Triathlon can attend a “First Timer” seminar at 5PM in the Marlin Room. The 10th Annual Health & Fitness Expo will run from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
