6th Annual Art in the Gardens
Date: October 15, 2011 - October 16, 2011
Event Description The seed has been planted for a record-breaking Art in the Gardens this year when the annual outdoor art festival takes up roots at Downtown at the Gardens on Oct. 15-16. The free two-day event will continue to offer premier family-friendly entertainment with more than 70 local artists, live music from two stages and delicious food.
Halloween ArtiKids Area
Children of all ages can showcase their artist abilities in the festival’s Halloween-themed ArtiKids area sponsored by Home Away from Home Learning Centers. "Spooky" tunes will play from the Carousel and A Latte Fun and Resource Depot will offer holiday-inspired arts and crafts and face painting.
Name that Flower! Art Naming Contest
The Chamber has launched a contest to name the above original acrylic painting by Jupiter-based Art in the Gardens artist, April Davis.
Prizes The winner will receive a $50 “Arti-Bucks” gift card to spend at Art in the Gardens, a giclee of the painting and name recognition in festival materials and during the event.
Artist Quote “This painting is my newest and really special to me, so I can’t wait to hear the names and see what the image conjures up for other people. I really love the naming contest idea because it allows my fans to be part of my creative process!” - April Davis
The center is located at 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue, at the corner of PGA Boulevard and Alternate A1A, east of I-95 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
From the South (West Palm Beach, Palm Beach International Airport, Fort Lauderdale/Miami)
Take I-95 North to PGA Boulevard, Exit 79A. Go right (east) onto PGA Boulevard. Make first left onto Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue. Downtown at the Gardens is straight ahead. Or, take the Florida Turnpike to PGA Boulevard, exit 109. Turn left (east) onto PGA Boulevard and travel three miles. After crossing the overpass, make first left onto Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue.
From the North (Jupiter, Stuart)
Go South on the Florida Turnpike (Exit 109) or I-95 (Exit 79) to PGA Boulevard. Turn left (east) onto PGA Boulevard. After crossing the overpass, make first left onto Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue.
There are over 2,700 FREE parking spaces and three valet parking locations at Downtown at the Gardens.
