What is Women Build?
Women Build is an annual, worldwide event engaging women in an effort to build homes for deserving families.
Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County invites you to join us as a Crew Member of Women Build 2015. This
affiliate is calling on women to roll up their sleeves and pick up a hammer to build a home for single mother Sandra Sample and her two children and grandson.
“I want to become a homeowner to make a better life for myself, my children, and my grandchildren. I want to create a legacy within my family that will change their lives forever. I want to be a positive example to my children, and show them that you can achieve your dreams if you work hard and do not settle.” ~Sandra Sample
How can I become a Women Build CrewMember?
Join women in Palm Beach County from all walks of life in your community for Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County’s annual Women Build event. Participation is easy, and no construction experience is required! Visit our website at www.habitatpbc.org for more information on how you can put together a crew.
What kind of work will I be doing?
Possible activities include . Installing Roof Trusses, Roof Sheathing, Installing doors, windows, and closet doors, Interior wall framing, Installing insulation, Installing flooring. Exterior/ Interior painting, and Landscaping.
