Event Description
For 21st century jobs, think carbon management! The earth’s carbon cycle and the effects of Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) on that cycle will impact recycling and waste management, environmental engineering, energy trading, and sustainability planning. Top Fortune 500 corporations in America are participating in managing their carbon footprint. This course provides an overview of the global energy infrastructure and solutions for GHG control and reduction.
Students will learn: • carbon management issues and solutions • the carbon cycle and Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) • how jobs will be created through the management of the earth’s carbon cycle and the effects of GHGs on that cycle • an overview of the global energy infrastructure • solutions for GHG control and reduction
