Join the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce for our Business Before Hours: Salute to Our Military & Veterans breakfast on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Palm Beach Gardens Marriott. This event is presented by Lockheed Martin. We will be honoring military personnel and veterans at this event with keynote speaker, Mickey Gallagher, Captain, U.S. Air Force (retired) with Honor Flight South Florida.
We will have a presentation of colors by the Palm Beach Gardens High School Navy, JROTC and Color Guard. Michael Newbold and Reality Allen from the Max M. Fisher Boys and Girls Club of Riviera Beach will be singing the National Anthem at the start of the program. Madeline Gilbert, a member of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre Professional Training Program, will conclude the program with the singing of 'God Bless America'.
G.N. “Mickey “ Gallagher served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-1958 as an active 9th Air Force Troop Carrier O-3, as well as in the Reserve from 1959-1964. He attended the University of Richmond studying Business Administration, and the University of Virginia to study Aeronautical Engineering. Gallagher used his knowledge and experience to work on the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft from 1961-1995 and on the Small UAV Engines for Locust Power from 1996-2010. Later he worked with Vale on SA Turbo Generation until 2012. Gallagher currently serves as an Honor Flight Veteran Coordinator for Honor Flight South Florida.
