4th Annual Celebration of Champions
Big Hearts for Little Hands
West Palm Beach, Florida: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties (BBBSPBMC) will be hosting the Fourth Annual Celebration of Champions on Friday, March 6, 2015. The red carpet awards dinner will be held at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, beginning at 5 o’ clock p.m. This year’s Keynote Speaker is Innovation Teacher, Mr. Todd LaVogue. LaVogue has been selected for the third consecutive year as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIE Expert)! He was the only Palm Beach County teacher recognized this year among 800 teachers from 100 counties around the globe.
The Celebration of Champions Awards Dinner recognizes an outstanding citizen and notable local business individual in the community. In both categories, the individuals are socially and financially vested in changing young lives. “One of the great pleasures of my position is witnessing the amazing impact our programs achieve with children. This enjoyable opportunity is closely followed by having the ability to recognize those that help BBBS of Palm Beach and Martin Counties accomplish our mission. We would not have the gift of changing young lives for the better, forever if not for our awesome volunteers, donors, funders and mentors. Celebration of Champions permits our agency to graciously and befittingly acknowledge some of these incredible supporters” William Bee, Jr., Big Brother and CEO.
Awards will be presented for the Teen Big of the Year, Big Brother of the Year, Big Sister of the Year and Business Mentor of the Year. Mentors, supporters, donors and volunteers enthusiasts of BBBSPBMC will also be highlighted during the evening. The donation you make by purchasing ticket(s) will not disappoint! Admission for early registration through February 27 is $125 per person and $150 thereafter. Upon entry, guests will receive two complementary drinks, Hors d'oeuvre followed by a sumptuous dinner. Guests should be prepared to be entertained by amazing talents and a chance to win items from the BIG and Silent Auction.
